Herding GmbH Filtertechnik is a German engineering company specialised in industrial filtration technology for dry, dust-laden process air. Headquartered in Amberg, Bavaria, the family-run Mittelstand business has grown over more than 40 years into a global supplier of complete dust-collection systems for every major industrial sector. The company is best known for its proprietary Herding sintered lamella filter — a rigid-body filter element built from sintered polyethylene with a PTFE-containing coating, engineered to deliver true surface filtration, consistently low emission levels, stable operation, and an exceptionally long service life. Herding designs, manufactures, and installs complete filtration plants for metal processing, foundries, welding, pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals, and additive manufacturing, among others.
