Bernhard Reiter is a carpenter and AI-craft pioneer, fusing thirty years of handcraft with artificial intelligence — directing software systems entirely through natural language, without ever having written code. Founder of VI4, he created VOAI, an AI-native business operating system for small and medium-sized enterprises, builds Cody, an autonomous multi-agent system and author of the first external submission to the international Terminal-Bench 2.1 leaderboard, and initiated Craft Codex, an open-source initiative for AI-driven craft education, developed in collaboration with Christophe Barlieb and the CyberCraft Institute.
Trained at the Master School for Carpentry Technology and Interior Design in Graz, he spent three decades across the wood industry — from project management and work preparation to product design and international trade-fair projects, among others for EGGER, TEAM 7 and FACC — as well as running his own businesses. He lives in Thurn, East Tyrol.
