Woodbloc is the glue-free solid-timber construction brand of Penzkofer Bau GmbH, manufacturing 100% untreated solid-wood walls and dowelled wood ceilings out of a 6,000 m² facility in Regen, Bavarian Forest. Its tagline — “HOLZ. NEU GEDACHT.” (Wood. Rethought.) — sums up the proposition: prefabricated wall and ceiling elements that contain no synthetic adhesives and no metallic fasteners, joined instead with LIGNOLOC® beech wood nails and beech dowels for full disassembly, full recyclability, and true circular construction.
Carpenters and installation teams work alongside the brand, supporting craftspeople on site with assembly. Woodbloc also hosts the “Technik für Kinder” technique house on its grounds, where several thousand children and young people each year explore technology, craft and sustainability — a long-standing commitment that pairs naturally with the CCI Network’s educational mission.
