Tiroler Fachberufsschule Lienz (TFBS Lienz) is the vocational school of the Province of Tirol serving the East-Tyrolean apprentice cohort, providing the school half of Austria’s dual training system across construction, carpentry, metalworking, electrical engineering, office administration and logistics. Roughly 270 apprentices pass through the school’s classes each year, in cohorts that culminate in regional and provincial competitions such as the Tischler-Landeslehrlingswettbewerb (carpentry apprentice championships).
In partnership with INNOS and the CCI Network, TFBS Lienz hosts the MINT Lab Lienz (MINT-Lab) — a digital-craft training environment opened on 26 February 2025 — and is the regional venue for the WinterSchule 25 workshop series on AI and Mixed Reality in the trades.
